Some nights Aidan's hardest ride is his ride home. Last night he took a spill pedaling home from the Vomit Squad compound and scored himself a busted ankle. Luckily it's just a sprain and he'll be back on his bike in no time. RATPACK

Christian Hamrick for Machete

Christian Hamrick has recently linked up with Machete Bikes on some components and just released this edit to make it official. Christian rides with a style all his own; smooth lines and huge tech skills that not many people can come close to touching. Earlier this week Machete released their Slayer bars and will be dropping 9t and 10t micro drive hubs this August that are looking soild. I'm really diggin' Christian's bloody maroon G.O.A.T. especially now that it's been more abused, exposing the the sulfur yellow undercoat. I'm also hyped Christian has been cruisin' with a RATPACK stickie as of lately! Look out for a lot more coming soon from both Christian and Machete. RATPACK

Home Sweet Home

Last night I caught a flight from SF to LA then took a redeye back to VA. Currently I am back home in Richmond, VA. Can't say I'm thrilled to be back to these 100 degree temperatures but the time had come to return. I want to thank everyone who helped make my trip to the Bay Area so great, huge thanks to all the SF homies Daniel, Jeff, Ramon, Susie, Julio, Mike, Adam, Chuck, Julian, Forest Parker, Matt Reyes, Pete Brandt, Larry "WeOutHere", and Crazy Dave. I also want to give another huge thanks to everyone in San Jose especially Christian, Mike Schmitt, Devon Lawson, Ben Schmitt, BBG Joseph, NYC Grandma, Alex Blanco, Jeff Dempler, Ed "Wonka", Matt Montoya, Anthony Combs, Nhan, Spencer, and Zackula. Thanks guys, I couldn't have asked for a better time!

   Mattew Montoya has a stock pile of clips he's been sitting on for a minute now, it's so sick to see him still dropping edits while he recovers from his injury. He gave me a sneak peek of this edit while I was in San Jose last week and I'm real hyped on this final version he posted earlier today. Check out Montoya's smooth as silk hang5 and nose manny lines (plus that big ass double peg!) paired with JeffyD's solid camera work. Great job guys!

Yesterday at the Destory 3rd and Army Jam / Fuck Fest Sean from Destroy Bikes hooked me up with one of their shirts. Sean is a cool dude and makes some seriously killer frames. Forest Parker Showed Up

Today after the Destroy jam I met Forest Parker by the island. He recently switched over to 26inch and is looking right at home already. It's crazy how many people roll by the island on any given day, it is definitely one of the best hangout spots in SF. Hopefully we will get a few clips together before I head back to Richmond, VA. Destroy Bikes BBQ

Tomorrow Destroy Bikes will be holding a BBQ/Jam at 3rd and Army. As the flier says they will also have a merch tent set up with special deals on the Masochist frame and 666 bars as well as some live music. Should be sick, if you're in the area come out, I know I'll be there. RATPACK

Ed Wonka Does Big Brown

Mike Schmitt shot this ad for Grime bikes of Ed "Wonka" LaForte double peggin' to skid on big brown with Matt "Slumworm" Reyes and myself filming for Shredwell2. This 19 stair handrail is the biggest thing I've ever seen someone do on a fixed in person, Ed is a BEAST. Check out his newest video for Chrome with Anthony Combs making a guest appearance here.

iMiNUSD San Jose

iMiNUSD was one of the first shops dedicated to solely track and fixed gear riding. As one of fgfs leading retailers the shop has helped push the industry to where it is today, and will continue to be a leader within the community for years to come. I was psyched to see the store as well as the impact it has had on the surrounding San Jose area. Last thursday after 3rd and Army I took the last CalTrain out to San Jose to meet up with Hambone and continue filming as well as kick it with the rest of the Grime boys at the G.O.A.T traphouse.
